I feel that the trip to the Barrage was meaningful as some of us may not have the opportunity to go there as it is not near where we reside and most of us won't have the time to go to such places.
During this trip , my classmates had lots of fun there as the scenary seen was beautiful as well as a great place for photo taking, especially at the rooftop. 8D
The gallery was fun to walk in as it is thoroughly clean and there were some features for us to interact with. This is good as we do not have to walk and look just to learn the history about Singapore, it's rivers as well as the Barrage.
Overall, I thought the trip was quite enjoyable except for the parts where we had to be under the blazing hot sun [:

It is important to Singapore’s development as it increases Singapore’s water supply and prevent flooding. It is shaped as the number ‘9’ because in Chinese, it means long or forever, which means that the Barrage will have a long life based on its importance to Singapore. It is also a tourist attraction due to the recreational facilities available.

The construction of Marina Barrage had helped Singapore in the reduction of floods occurring in Singapore. Other than that, it has also helped to filter the water from the ocean. With its Nine gates, it really controls the water flowing into Singapore from the ocean. It is a great place for tourist to enjoy and admire while they are visiting Singapore.

Marina Barrage is impressive and it will continue on as the epitome of the organizing of land and resources to help in the saving, storing as well as the production of clean water. The Marina Barrage had been an inspirational attraction. The trip there was impressive as the information I had read or have analyzed were very informational. Lee Kuan Yew’s innovation of such a building helps in Singapore’s growth and development. The layout was interesting as it posed as a great attraction due to the many views and scenery that can be seen while at the Barrage itself. Many engineers of different perks were brought upon in helping with the construction of the Barrage, the marine life were brought into account as well as ideas were brought into thinking how the Barrage would not interfere with the daily life of the marine animals.
